About the AAD
The American Academy of Dermatology was founded in 1938. It is the largest, most influential and representative dermatology group in the United States. With a membership of more than 19,000, it represents virtually all practicing dermatologists in the United States, as well as a growing number of international dermatologists.
Klara's healthcare communication platform allows providers and patients to centralize all their communication in one simple messaging platform. Doctors and their teams can collaboratively message with their patients, adding external providers and other medical partners (such as pharmacies, labs and insurance companies) to the conversation to streamline patient care. Klara was founded in 2013 by Simon Bolz und Dr. Simon Lorenz and has offices in New York (HQ) and Berlin.
